How Much Does My Face Cost?

As always, Welcome Back!

Today, I thought it would be fun to add up the cost off all the products I use in a more natural and quick routine. We all know how crazy expensive beauty products can be, and I want to remind you that I am a little extra when it comes to beauty products, but I am aware of that. I use multiple different mascara's to achieve the look I am going for, I mix foundations, and I use two different primers sometimes. I tried to make this as simple as possible, but still accurate to my personal routine. Lets get into it, and see how much my face does cost!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: $16.00
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation: $39.00
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer: $27.00
Elf HD Lifting Concealer: $3.00
Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder: $32.00
ELF Soft Luminance Powder: $6.00

Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Face Palette (Highlight): This was Limited Edition, I believe it was around $54.00 when i purchased it. The highlight "Champagne Pop" is sold separately for $38.00
Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette (Bronzer/Contour): $49.00
Covergirl Soft Mink Blush: Depending on where you buy it, it can be anywhere from 5-8 dollars.

Maybelline Rocket Volume Express Waterproof: 5-8 Dollars
Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara: $23.00
Benefit Roller Lash: $24.00
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: $21.00
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel: $22.00

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer & Setting Primer: $32.00
Makeup Wipes: I'm always switching up my wipes, and they can be anywhere from 5-10 bucks

End Result: $344.00

To be honest, I was expecting MUCH worse 😂. I will try to justify the cost by saying that the more expensive products do last for a while. Typically, a foundation lasts me about 6 months because I don't wear foundation daily. As far as palettes go, I still have every single one I've ever purchased.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post, as it was super fun for me to actually figure out how much these products cost. As always, thanks so much for reading.

Beauty and the Beast Lipsticks | 2018

Welcome Back!

I hope you all had an amazing 2017 holiday season. I for one, have mixed feelings that the madness is over. This year is going to be one of the best yet, and I'm super thankful to be able to continue to do what I love. Today we are going to be briefly talking about Lorac's MOD lipstick's from their Beauty and the Beast Collection 😍

If you know me personally, you KNOW that Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorite movies/stories growing up. My family spent a lot of time at Disney, doing Disney inspired things, and obviously watching Disney movies.  This year obviously was a good year for me considering the live action movie came out, followed by all the merchandise.

This Lorac set came out earlier in the year, and surprisingly, didn't do as well as I expected to. I expected this to fly off of the shelves considering the hype behind the movie, but this guy stuck around ALL year, and always in stock. My friend picked up the set for me for Christmas (Thanks Lisa!!) and she said they were extremely cheap on black Friday. Even without the sale, I truly think that the regular retail price of 36 dollars for five quality lipsticks, is not bad. At this point I am kind of kicking myself for not trying these sooner.

Lorac, you killed it with the packaging and name selection on this collection.

From Left to Right:
True Beauty, Red Rose, Belle-ieve, Tres Chic, Savoir Faire

Belle-ieve, COME ON.

( With Flash)

They are engraved on the side with the Beauty and the Beast logo, along with Lorac itself. This photo shows them looking pretty true to color. True Beauty (all the way to left), has a bit of shimmer in it, but the rest are a flat color. I would say the finish of these would be a satin finish, and wear beautifully being that they are a moderate coverage lipstick. I usually like my lipstick super opaque, but these are stunning.

This would be the perfect starter set for someone who isn't exactly comfortable with lipstick.

you can purchase, here.
(they are currently on sale for 27!)

Hoping you all had a lovely end to 2017, and as always thanks for reading.
